Join Ms. Seaira in making Eco-Art out of plastic “recyclables” that get a 2nd life as Art, as Art is Life:). Students will develop their sculpting skills with a paper-mache process and paint their creations. Students can bring in their own plastic recyclables, paper-towel or toilet paper rolls, scrap paper, old newspapers, and/or scrap colored tissue paper.
Cara Seaira O’Brien is an art & yoga teacher and a wholistic healing practitioner for over 15 years. She is an alumni from SUNY New Paltz with a BFA in Ceramic Sculpture and a BS in Art Education. Seaira’s deeply connected time working with clay influenced her senses & abilities into working in the wholistic healing arts where she developed her private practices with international trainings and in the Bay Area, California for over a decade and is now happy to be back rerooting living closer to family again.
