Studio Verde (Ages 9–12)
Session Dates: June 29 through July 10th
Instructor: Marta Porras
Studio Verde: Plant Identification & Herbal Properties
Get ready for a magical two-week experience of nature, creativity, and hands-on fun! Led by our beloved Spanish teacher, Marta Porras, Verde will run from June 29th to July 10th.
This unique program invites children to explore the wonderful kingdom of plants through all five senses. Participants learn how plants grow and discover their medicinal and culinary attributes. Not only will we be learning – we’ll be creating, tasting, and imagining too!
Each day will be filled with exciting activities such as:
Observing and learning about different plants and their uses
Drawing and painting beautiful botanical art
Cooking simple, delicious recipes using fresh plant ingredients
Exploring the cultural and natural importance of plants (with a sprinkle of Spanish!)
With Marta’s warmth and passion, participants will connect language, botany, and creativity in a joyful and meaningful way. Whether your children are sketching a sunflower, tasting fresh herbs, or learning a new Spanish word, every moment will be rooted in curiosity and joy. Join us for Studio Verde where big ideas may come to sprout!
