Percussion Ensemble with Chris Losee

Students are invited to explore the rich and varied world of classical percussion. Working with traditional orchestral percussion instruments, students will develop rhythmic skills, musical confidence, careful listening, and the ability to play together as an ensemble. Led by Christopher Losee, the group will explore classical music and prepare pieces to share at the December and Spring Music Shares. No prior percussion experience is necessary.

Rehearsals on Mondays - 3:30-4:30pm

Rehearsals begin on Monday 9/14.
No rehearsal on 9/21, 10/12, and 11/23

Open to students in Grades 4-8; Alumni are welcome!

Prior percussion experience is NOT required, however prior music experience IS required.

All instruments and music will be provided.
