Middle School Co-Ed Basketball with Mr. C

Whether you’re new to the game or already love to play, the Co-Ed Basketball Club is the place to build your skills, develop your game sense, and become a true team player, while having a great time and making new friends along the way.

Through weekly practices, fun drills, and friendly scrimmages, you’ll learn: 

🏀 fundamental basketball skills: shooting, passing, dribbling, defense, and teamwork; 

🏀 game strategies and court awareness; 

🏀 leadership, sportsmanship, and the importance of team effort.

Mr. C (Jake Ciofalo) is an experienced athlete and coach, as well as a seasoned Waldorf middle and high school teacher, and a former college professor with three decades of teaching experience. Mr. C currently serves as the 7th grade teacher at MLWS. He was a college pitcher for Pepperdine University and was drafted into the New York Mets’ Minor League system as an early pick his junior year in college. He later coached his Waldorf high school son in basketball who received Division I college scholarship offers. He was the middle school co-ed basketball coach at the Waldorf School of Baltimore as well as at Sanderling Waldorf School, with his Baltimore girls team winning competitive league championships in each of the three years he coached.
